hey guys, quick question on lighting for my tank... its a 14g nano, looking to keep mostly polyps of sorts (zoo's and other colony polyps). My question is what type of lighting do you reccomend, im looking for it to be sufficent enough for propagation and health, but not looking to spend a fortune 8).
Thanks,
Jay

some stronger power compacts i guess will do the trick for a limited budget.

ok, leads me to a problem tho... my tank has odd demensions (kinda old) and is only 20 inches long which leaves me with 18" lights.... i cant seem to find anything more than a lousy 15w 18" bulb on the net....

you can always get a 24" and have it stick over a bit or u can make a coustom hood and retro fit some bulbs like it did...but thats a bit pricy if u dont do it urself like it did.

I have the bottom light on this page I used it on my 10 gal. (20 inches) for quite a while. Worked great!!! I am sure you would love it.

The 96W with the 50/50 quad tube. It even sustained a few hard corals untill I got my 70 MH
I have a sale pending on it but if it falls thru I will let you know!!!
