RIP Weatherfish

Alas, my weatherfish died today. Presumably of old age - there were no signs of disease or injury. He was the only survivor of my goldfish days of about 5 years ago. :(
 
Aww, that sucks. I love Dojos (weather loaches) as I have 4..
 
Appreciate the concern, guys! that's why this forum is so great...

I thought the weatherfish was a weather loach for about 4 years, but according to loaches.com I think it was a misgurnus mizolepis, based on its colour and head shape. however it never got to the full 10" (only about 5", probably from being kept in an 18x10" tank with 3 goldfish for several years).

The misgurnus mizolepis looks exactly like a "weather loach" or "dojo loach". I believe a misgurnus mizolepis is the same thing as a weather loach, and a weather loach is the same thing as a weather fish ;)
