Looks great. But I like it as is, I am a huge fan of 360 viewing of an aquarium. When it is pratical.

Thanks everybody for your encouragement!
I hear you on the background - but as mentioned by Sawyer1206 it actually is a "room divider." It doesn't make for great photos, but it does mean it can be viewed from the couch/living area on one side or the entrance/dining room on the other. Also, we are mostly out during the day, so light coming through is less of an issue at night...
Some bigger fishies and a proper CO2 tank to really ramp up the greens (which will effectively provide a bit more of a "background" from both sides are being added over the coming months...will update... :)
how long has your tank been set up? just asking because i notice the yellowish tint from the tannins. very nice tank though

Water added late December, fish added late January, so really three months since the wood has been in. The tree-stump was pre-soaked in a gold-fish pond before that for a couple of months, but the mangrove root was new.
Tannins still very strong - and that's with total 50% water change per week, and a serious amount of carbon in the smaller Eheim filter (the big mamma filter is only bio and mechanical).
I figure it will clear up in a few months...at which point I will probably take the Eheim filter off...still it is an amazon tank, so a bit of colour is in-theme...and it beats paying good $ for "black-water extract"!
