Changed out DIY mixture in Hagen co2 system. It's "CRANKIN"

I use an iPhone 8 camera
is that a bad thing? I don't remember this many bubbles being produced the first time I put it on the tank. It's crankin' out 1 bubble every 3 seconds. Will it slow down soon? Should I keep an eye on the pH?

I didn't have a huge pH swing before, but then again I don't remember this many bubbles...

Did you put more yeast than usual in there or maybe you had the right water temp to activate all of the yeast right away?

I doubt it will slow down until the sugar is used up or the yeast is killed off by the alcohol, unless of course you lower the temperature. Your pH swing caused by CO2 is no big deal if your fish aren't gasping at the surface. I really doubt you could get that much using DIY but I don't know what sized tank you have.
 
Yeah, I added a little more this time

10g I added 1/2tea yeast (same as the first time)
29g I added 3/4tea yeast (First time I added 1/2tea)

I also added a little baking soda to the mix (about 1/8tea) doubt that'll make a difference.

Water was room temp dechlored..
 
OK, here are todays readings

Yesterday, I changed out the yeast mixture in the reactor. The pH in the tank was about a 6.8. I just checked it, and it 6.4, so it dropped a bit.

Questions are:

Is this too much of a drop in 24 hours?

Will it drop further?

Should I change out the mixture again and add less yeast (the mix I used was 3/4tea of yeast, about 1/8tea of baking soda? Should I add more baking soda?

Will this low of a pH have an effect on my fish.

When making beer and wine, the wort and must (technical high-brow terms for the stuff that is fermenting) will be very active for the first day or two, then settle down.

Suspect thats the same with your DIY CO2...
