I have Convicts. Someone gave me five and within a month they had babies twice. Only one is a female.
I have two ten gallon tanks. I know that is not big enough-working on getting a bigger tank. This is Tank 1: Two pictures are the babies, one is of the female (mom) fish.
This is the second tank: The first white one is the daddy to the second set, and that is the fry below him. The breeding cage has the net on because they can get through the holes in the bottom. The first striped one is the daddy to the first set of fry. I moved mom in by herself because I don't have anymore room for fish. The next two pictures are the two other males. The last picture is one of my plecos. These fish were extremely camera shy. Everytime I clicked the shutter button, they would swim away.
Looks really nice. So what, your just startin out, and thats ok, but your right you need more space for those fish. You said you have one female? Two different batches from the same female and different daddys? Be interested to see what they look like as young adults. I took yet more pics today of my Yellows and Blues and it's the flash that they don't like
