I'm now the proud papa of a beautiful pair of red/turqoise discus. 
In any case, I keep my tank at about 83 degrees and I've noticed that my plants don't pearl nearly as much as they once did. Nothing has changed except the temperature and 50% RO/50% tap where I used to use 100% tap.
I do 50% water change a week. Ferts per Tom Barr method. Compressed c02,

2 65 watt CF over 55 gallon.
Loads of plants in there...
Does temp have anything to do with c02 carrying capacity?
