I've read all the posts I could find on breeding Blue Gouramis and followed all the advice. I woke up yesterday and there were a bunch of eggs floating in a corner of the tank. Today there are babies all over the top of the tank. I took mom and dad out as they were eating the babies. Now I'm wondering if I need to turn the air back on in the tank or do I need to wait? :help:

Do you have a filter on your tank? If so then you have no need to run extra air in your tank. However, if you are keeping the fry in that tank then you will want to cover the filter intake so they don't get sucked up or switch to a sponge filter which is what I recommend for fry tanks.

lower the water level and make sure the air above the water in the tank is humid, to help their labyrinth organs develop.
cover filter intakes with sponges to prevent the babies from being sucked up and killed.

Thats strange that the parents were eating the babies, but sometimes first time fathers do that. I think you should have tried just taking the female out first, because the father might have been stressed out in her presence, but who knows. The father gourami will usually care for the babies and put them in the bubblenest until they are free swimming.
But since you have don't have either parent in the tank, just use the advice of the people above, use some sort of barrier on the filter so the babies don't get sucked up, and lower the water level.
