I have about a 2 week old tank up and running. Just in the last day or so there has been this outbrake of white growth on one of my pieces of live rock. It dosent scrape off like algea will though. This particular piece or live rock I obtained from a freind's established tank and it is solid purple. Coud it be some of the corline algea dying off and exposing the rock beneath it? It is bright white. Any help would be appreciated!

It was never out of water. Transported to my house in water. Time from her tank to mine was only a hour if that.
