Right now i have 15 lbs of live rock from my LFS. It was cultured and everything. I'm cycling my tank with a damsel, I know i shouldn't cycle with fish its bad :(. Anyways can anyone tell me when i should get live rock? Maybe after the cycling? Right now? Also any suggestions whats a good online shop that ships to canada? Right now Tampa Bay Saltwater looks nice. I don't want to spend too much money. If it says the LR is fully cured and everything should I still cure it? Thanks for replies :)

ok thanks. Any suggestions for a name for my yellow tail damsel? I don't know whether its female or male. Also would the tips of 2 18watt flourecent lights melt my plastic protein skimmer. The lights are in a glass container and it isnt touching the skimmer. thanks for replies:) :) :)

Do you have any suggestions about what to do with my lighting? Cutting it won't help:(

Errr I meant cutting the hood wouldnt help..... or would it?...hmm....

Okay I looked at my hood and theres no space to cut it. Maybe I have to make one =/

 Oooh I'll try . Should it be made with wood? Should i Also keep the filter it comes with? I imagine I could put it on my new hood easily. Also with LR should i get some now? I have 1 damsel in there but the cycle hasnt started, so is it best to get the rock now? Thanks by the way:)

live rock that comes "cure" will have mild die off when it comes to you.. but it shoulding affect a cycled tank unless you have very little bacteria totake car of it. as for the lighting. coralife or some other brand has a retrofit kit specially made for the eclipse systems. they run on 50/50 and are MILDLY suitible for saltwater. but i recommend gettinga better tank overall
