This is my 29g after a few months. The vals have been trying to take over and the ludwigia isn't doing so good.
I don't know what the bright green one in the middle is. It started growing in my dwarf baby tears but it's much larger.
Btw, my crypt wendtii is getting huge!! I had no idea it had the potential to grow so tall.
First pic shows the outbreak of thread algae. I increased CO2 and added my pleco and some RCS to the tank.
Within 2 days the algae was under control. I added my rasboras and male livebearers today, who are also picking off remaining bits of thread algae.
I had to trim vals down to the base, as the existing leaves were dying due to the bleach treatment before planting them. They are growing back quickly.
Ludwigia is looking brown and dull because of diatoms.

Lighting - 2x55w bright kit from ahsupply.com (3.8wpg)
Pressurized CO2 with pH controller.
Plants: contortionist vals, ludwigia peruensis, red melon sword, dwarf baby tears
Started out with no fish while I get use to using pressurized CO2.
