Howdy! I recently built a hinged wooden box that would help house my Whisper 60 air pump. I used two Home Depot hinges and a 3/4" piece of wood. I cut airholes into the front and top of the box to allow for airflow and prevent over-heating. I built the box for 2 reasons, the first was to help quiet some of the noise that it creates (I am very sensitve to noise), the second was to get it off of the bottom to allow more room for the caniser filters.
