He flairs at me, but only after I put a small floating mirror in for a few seconds. I think he's a halfmoon but can't seem to tell. But I love his colors, I believe he's platinum red or silver red hard to tell.

I've had him for about a year at my office. He started changing color on his back - just a place on his back that turned white. Its spreading and is now on his sides. Looking up close his fins look perfectly normal to except they are changing color. His appetite isn't as good as it once was but he still eats. I've been using Melafix and Pimafix but neither has helped. I have nerite snails for algae control so can't use anything copper-based. He/she was in with some gold gouarmis and a single small female black molly. The molly came home with us too!

What a cute little gourami! He's happily cruising along with the few others in the 55g. The female betta leaves him alone. The only fish I've seen the female betta go after is the black molly.
