1st northern pike fishing trip, caught this gem.

    At first I thought it was another northern pike, but the stripes threw me off. It turns out that it's a Tiger Muskie, which is a hybrid of a pike/muskie.

    Not the biggest fish ever, but still a proud moment. :D

    Awesome! I'll have to find the pics of a true muskie caught on the St. Mary's River when I was up in Michigan last summer. Thing was HUGE!!! :)

    Nice fish! I was in a bass tournament this past Saturday and hooked up with a few nice sized Pike. Unfortunately there's no time for pics during the tourney. Keep on fishing!!

    thats a great catch! im going fishing this summer on a two night trip, so hopefully ill catch something like that. imagine that monster in your fish tank... i think its illegal in the US to keep game fish in an aquarium.
