my experience with nano tanks is that you have to change the water pretty often to keep the parameters in check. its probably a good size for shrimp, or a few plants, or maybe some kind of coral or invert in salt water. never tried a nanoreef though. maybe think about some live plants, like anubias. good luck!

Ambers are schoolers, and would do better with more of their kind. So, I would not.

A Frog, a crayfish, or snail tank would be better. Or just one guppy.
