No progress can be made since the leak between the frame and glass has not been fixed yet. It leaks like a tiny drop or so ....but big or small has to be fixed....removed the silicon glue and tried up again ...but still the problem exist....can progress further with both underwater and above the water only once it gets rectified...hope all gets well soon...

Yay, does this mean you got the leak fixed?

Plants grow on natural light all the time, but with your window limiting duration of full intensity you may not get much growth out of low plants at the bottom of the tank. But it could surprise me. With it being 3 feet deep I wouldn't want to have very many things that need periodic trimming since it could be awkward to get into parts of that tank. Your plant selection seems to mostly include easier growing ones with the exception of the couple of bottom growing ones, so you could try a bit of each and let your successes shape your plant selection.
