I just picked up a 55 gallon Top Fin aquarium kit from petsmart. It came with some quality products. I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with this brand of tank? The glass seems to be slightly thinner than the all glass aquarium but it looks nice with the black sealer on the seams and the rounded edges etc. I'd like some feed back on top fin aquariums. It seems like a good tank and it is all set up with no leaks.

Yeah, I bought a 75g Top Fin tank and I remember seeing "All-Glass" either on a sticker or the display card thingy. The tanks are manufactured by All-Glass and sold by Top Fin.

That's interesting. I have bought several tanks top fin tanks in the last month and they say Perfecto and marineland on the hoods and lights. Are the hoods and lights made a different company or are Perfecto tanks made by All-glass as well?

Top Fin are good tanks just don't follow the instructions on the demo tape for cycling a new tank, if yours has a tape that is.

Perfecto makes the hood and light, All-Glass makes the tank, and then Top Fin sells them. They probably have some type of contract with Perfecto and All-Glass. I think Marineland just has an advertising deal with Top Fin. That's just a guess though.

    and kenmore-Anne
