Depending on how much water you're using, you could still use pill boxes/other appropriately sized containers, and just apply as needed.
I've already mixed my dry ferts with water, so I'll stick with that for now. I believe the dosing for excel is 1mL for every 10 gallons

I don't doubt that he knows the fish, and I'm sure the guys on Tanked have a similar staffer. I just think Tanked is a more entertaining show. To clarify,
