I've read it's an hefty supply of potassium (or is it phosphorus?) that helps anubias bloom. Very nice Mgamer!

It is the middle element in the usual npk fertilizer formulation that aids flower formation. So phosphorus it is. Those two are confusing, but I remember it this way. The sound of f is p, and the sound of p is k, or f is p and p is k, referring to phosphorus and potassium of course.

We have an anubias in the process of blooming in a tank that gets no added ferts too.

Might be in the natural water supply, whichever P it is, lol (yeah I think phosphorus too, Snakeice). I'm among the worst fertilizers ever & some of mine flowered often.

Very cool and nice pic. My regular a. nana flowers all the time by a. nana petite has never flowered.
