Otto cat fish.

I have a few of the orange/red Ramshorn and Malaysians Trumpet snails - very cool . Also saw some blues that I wouldn't mind having.

How important is it to get the molted carcasses out of the tanks? I have a Cory and snails in the tanks too, but no other fish.

I tossed a 1.5" diameter piece in on Friday and there was only a rind left on tuesday.

I have heard that Bettas will also eat the snails?? No experience though.

I have two in a 30, and they are very happy - as well as I am with there performance. I'll keep them on the pay roll for a while longer. :)

Yea, I kinda thought that too. A couple of the blues are a real intense color so I was kinda hoping to preserve that blood line. As for the dark ones, not yet quite sure of them. Maybe some other species got mixed in the shipment. More to follow I imagine!

Hey all - I got my Blues and Snows mixed up and really cant tell some of them apart. Any distinguishing features between the two? There are some definite ones I have been able to separate. But the others are less in color. Also a few seem to be more greenish.

Aren't the hang-on thermometers aluminum?

I have been dosing my 30g FW one cap and 3g and 5g shrimp tanks a partial cap every other day. So far so good. I do want to get an eyedropper for better control.

Where do you find you stock? I'm not looking for your "secret" spot, just what type of conditions?

Do you still have any tiger shrimps?
