wow i thought it's expensive over here in Malaysia. 1. AC500 is VERY RARE here. 2. usually priced at RM210+/- hehe. i got it the other day at RM150. it's a steal. i think that's about 75 au$ ? there are cheaper ones, but i don't know how good are they. they're from china/taiwan...

my Oscar (9") is living fine with a Severum(green, 6") and lady Convict (2"). occasional chases but they most times they can stay next to each other like a few inches away, which most times lead to a 1sec chase. haha. it's fine. the Severum was harrassed by the O for many days. i let them...

btw have you people seen dark blue and green BPs? there's quite a lot of them here. there are even BPs with markings of a flowerhorn!!!

which SONY model is that? my Olympus snaps nice pics with flash but without flash the shutter speed is just too slow. and you know Oscars are always moving around. off-topic, but what are the good cams that can snap nice(no blur) images without flash on?

i went to an exhibition and the "Kam Fah" flowerhorns with huge head humps almost as big as that, is selling for the price of RM 38,888 (that's about 10k USD). and that's not even the most expensive yet.

agree. i've been around town, seems that a number of flowerhorns exhibit the physical characteristics of a Convict/Firemouth mix.

plecos are really tough. it can stand the beating of my 2 convicts and 1 oscar and still it's growing.
