I grew up on a cattle ranch so you might call me biased, but I'm a huge fan of eating animal flesh.
I'm also an enthusiast for studying human evolution.
The strongest theories of our development into Homo sapiens denotes an extremely important need to eat meat.
Our brains make up only 2%...
Yes.
Streets? Those in the areas with streets will be long gone before gold loses its value to the human species.
Like it or not, you cannot counterfeit gold. As long as a certain level of division of labor exists on even the tiniest of scales among humans without direct bartering good for...

Hello everyone!
I've finally got around to setting back up one of my tanks and trying the heavily planted approach.
This is what I have currently set up:
29 gallon tank and stand
Currently ~3&1/2" flourite substrate (I have a couple 5 gallon buckets more full of flourite on hand)
130 Watts...
A lot of us left and went to aquariumboard years ago because this forum would exceed its bandwidth every month and the site would be unavailable for the last week.
When you get addicted to a site it really sucks not having it 25% of the time.
So what happened to AquariumBoard?
Hey Everyone,
I used to post on here a lot a few years ago. My attention drifted away from keeping aquariums for a few years and I lost touch with everyone.
I'm setting up some of my old tanks and finally going heavily planted! woohoo!
So I'll be around trying to remember how I'm...
Hey guys, I'm planning on selling a used 75 gallon aquarium with a solid wood stand. Everything in really good shape, no nicks, cracks or flaws. What price do you think it would be fair to ask for it?
Thanks!
It looks like everything has changed since I used to frequent here. I don't hardly recognize anyone. Of course there was a mass exodus way back when. I'm glad to hear that AquariaCentral made a comeback.
Actually Black is a Non-Color. Both black and white are non-colors. Grays are shades. Any mix of a color and a non-color are pastels. The only true colors are a variance of the basic blue, yellow, red mixtures. Which would disqualify Black from the onset.
hehe, spoken like a total dork...
I agree. Getting into a system does not damage the system. Most often when someone who is not an expert in computer systems hacks into a network they try to "erase their tracks". Delete a few files, system log events, etc.
They don't know what they are doing completely. Erase system...
Back in '95 I went to London to visit my brother who was going to a semester at law school there.
We were in the "Underground" (Read: British for subway) and I saw three young, black guys decked out in gangsta gear. Then they started talking.
Hard core British accents. Made me think of...
The local fish store that is privately owned is moving out of town and is already closed. I found out when I went to buy a large fish (maybe and oscar) to be the sole inhabitant for a 75 gallon tank that I have set up. Can anyone recommend a good online store that I can buy a large fish from...
I have an extremely successful group of african rift lake cichlids in my tanks. Actually too successful. They breed like rabbits on speed. My tap water has a lot of carbonates in it. Like liquid rock.
Sodium? So small it can't be measured. By me or the water company. And I have...
