I just bought an acrylic 75g with built in overflow, stand, 29 gallon sump, to replace my 22 year old 55g. The question I have is I would like to use the stand I have for my 55 it is a nice garage workbench that is black metal with diamond plate drawers, it has lots of storage and looks good...

I currently have a 7" featherfin and a 6" royal together in a 55g they don't fight but will ocasionally battle for food wafers. Otherwise they ignore each other.

do you think this would work:
1.5" pvc with end caps with airline barbs on either end,
2 holes in the bottom to allow for water flow. The idea is that c02 from yeast generator will flow into the chamber and rise to the top then the other end is hooked to the venturi intake on the powerhead...
I also have a 16g bowfront that is Detroit Tiger themed and am going to use a window film D then paint the back over it with the team colors in spray paint.
