    The Amano Empire

Interesting. Now please cite references to back this up . How were you able to bunch middle eastern culture with far-eastern culture when they are worlds apart?

eh, Japan pushes the boundaries on a regular basis. The us reality programs sickens me too... I dont really watch tv anymore unless its sports or nature shows.

    Generic tubing/hoses in the tank.

If you use the ones that food grade or the one that will be used for a refrigerator , then it shouldnt be any problem. I have used clear hoses from home depot before and never had a problem with them. Ill try to do more research on this though.

    id this fish please

If you dont know what it is, theres a good chance its a FH. Trimacs are hard to come by these days ... youre more likely to pick up a FH by accident than a trimac. :)

It could be a culmination of things : tannic acids from the drift are lowering your ph , organic wastes from the fish and plants .. are often do you clean your substrate? water changes?

    invisible bioload? frustrating

Can you post a picture of your setup ? maybe we can help you with how the tank is aquascaped, location of the tank or maybe even the background? BP are very social fish , its sort of unlike them to just cower in a cave unless something is stressing them out.

how do i remove white mineral stains

I use vinegar as well. Effective and readily available. Just make sure to rinse the tank thoroughly after using.

well mfk helped us get over the top

Thanks for the support on both forums. But i also echo the sentiment on what the others said.. Its better to register only if you have interest on that specific forum and the kind of fish / setup that majority of the members are interested in . :)
