    Algae Eating Fish

FYI: http://www.aquatic-gardeners.org/cyprinid.html True "SAE": "All the fins are transparent or slightly milky without any yellow or reddish sheen. The black band goes from nose to the fork of the tail and its edges are zig-zagged." False "SAE" = Flying Fox: "The black horizontal band...

    Water Conditioners

No offense but Instant Chlor does remove chlorine and chloramine. http://www.junglelabs.com/pages/details.phtml?item=NL035 For conditioners, I use Jungle's A.C.E. or Kordon's AmQuel .

    Mixing Cory Catfish

IMHO, albinos are quite independent & happy with others regardless of species.

    Co2 Natural Plant System

I agreed. That's why I've used it in my 20G cory tank (which fits Hagen's recommendation). Compared to daily administration of Seachem Excel, this system is more cost-effective in the long run for me. Actually, there are 3 packs in each "refill pack" (CAN$=8.99), and each pack can last...

I've been using the Hagen system in my 20G cory tank for about 2 months now and I'm quite pleased with it. I can reduce the application of Excel from daily to weekly/fortnightly now. :)

    Jobe's plant spikes

I bought both the Miracle-Gro & "Jobe's 16-2-6: For Lush Ferns & Palms" from Walmart the other day. I dare not put Miracle-Gro in my tank as I've heard that Miracle-Gro may have too much phosphates for aquarium use. My amazon swords respond really well to Jobe's with emergence of new...

    Which Cory?

It's just a matter of your own preference &/or the availability of species at your LFS, IMHO. You won't go wrong with any of the playful & cute ones. e.g., Pygmy Corys (Corydoras pygmaeus) -> grows up to 3 cm only. Albino Corys (Corydoras aeneus) -> most playful.
