6 is yet another "Rule-ofThumb" that we use; however, this # varies based on fish species and size, tank size, stock or crowding, cover, use of a dither fish, etc., etc., etc...... 6 is simply a number of fish suggested to ensure that a schooling fish will not be too stressed or act too far...

I have Ramshorn, and lately I have noticed that a few of mine have either developed, or were born (I have large and small snails w/ this) a very milky colored shell. It's almost like the colors are hidden underneath...? I assume that this may be a sign of poor diet, or lack of a mineral, but...
