Yes perfect idea. I have done this before. 10-20 gal plastic tub for 3 days. I would remove some of the tank water with could 5 gal buckets and add to the tub. Just add air stone @ home no need to heater on 3 days. If your home is 72 degrees then the water will be +/-2 which is fine. Your fish...

Wow nice that they changed how CO2 is injected in the aquarium. Not liking the price though. $249 w/LED to add to your own regulator is a little high I think. Bad thing is there is not enough people in the planted aquatics to bring the price down.
