I have a pair of platies with ramshorns and MTS. They don't seem interested in the snails at all.

I have a similar angel as you. The stripes are really dark in the daytime. When the lights go out, the stripes disappear. Yours look beautiful and healthy.

They don't do really well in new tanks. I think you would need to cycle more than a month for them. The more mature the tank, the better.

That is normal GBR behavior. Once they are comfortable with their new home, they will be aggressive eaters like other Cichlids. They also swim towards you and beg for food like my Angelfish. I fed mine Color Tetra Bits. The ones not eaten sinks to the bottom where the GBR will feast.

Mines will eat algae wafers and Tetra color bits. They spend all day "cleaning" my plants.
