Seems the water from compartment 1 will fall to refugium, then to the heaters without much interaction.. Perhaps have the water pass though the wall bottom between 1 & 2

Well, obviously I have been neglecting this thread. I will admit I have been busy with life in general. I needed to change direction & convert this to a 120g in-wall to finish up in time for my daughters graduation party.. Below are a few photos of the progress & finished product.

I think the tank will be setup & decorated on the floor Will be simple sand & driftwood mainly then hoisted up & the stand put under, then filled. It will be very difficult to put or remove large items once in place.
