Thanks, hope you didn't mind it being in a bunch like that. I just couldn't separate them individually due to the carpet being so thick. Let me know how the planting goes.

    FS E. Tenellus. Shipping/PU -NYC-

It is $5 a portion. A portion includes about 10 plantlets, which could be a few mother plants with 4-5 mature plants coming off of it. The tank does use CO2 but these plants will do just fine without it, they will just grow slower. pH is around 6. NYC water practically has no buffer.

    Green water

do a big water change, followed by a black out for atleast 1-2 days, then another water change. Also add extra filter floss to get most of it out.

    55g Planted tank (The Start)

Thank you. Just have to keep it simple and forget about the tank for a week or few.. eventually the plants will know what to do and fill in on their own.. Ha thanks. you made me look over the 59 pages and its a blast to see how much the tank/my knowledge has developed. Best thing to do for any...

    Will this kill fish?

I used Soilmaster before it got DC'd which is the same as Turface and it grew plants great. Just occasionally have to run a stick through it since the bottom tends to slightly clay up. Also it will get the tank cloudy for a good week or so. I suggest you post in the classified section to see...

    Lighting help

t8 bulbs are not the more efficient bulbs to use for plant growth due to the poor wattage they give out. But if you would go with them over your 29g tank, I would have atleast 3 of the 18w bulbs. But then comes the other question.. which plants do you plan on growing? Ferns/anubias/crypts, you...

    Quarantining Plants?

I wouldnt do the bleach bath rinse since many plants will be damaged by this. Whenever I would get new plants, I would just rinse it under the sink and plant away. Ich attacks fish that are weak/stressed, hence you mostly see ich on fish that are newly purchased and not on fish in a mature tank.

    new planted tank - routines?

filtration isnt a must but it will help with water movement which helps with plants. As far as routine, do a water change once a week, dose prime as suggested. Flourish isnt really necessary since you have slow growing plants that do not use up the nutrients that quickly. If you want once after...

    Will this kill fish?

exactly. root tabs and nutrient rich soils are there just as a booster. If you have a mature tank then I dont see why you would have a problem growing most of the plants.

    Pond Root Tabs for Aquariums?

With the large fish stock you have including two poop machines (pleco/SAE), you better be careful adding any additional nitrates. If you are dosing flourish already, theres no need for root tabs.

20 Gallon Low Light Planted Tank Build Journal! FINALLY!

Do the water change into a bucket so what ever shrimp get sucked up will not be lost. Another thing you can do is just hand fan the water in the tank that way any poop/dead leaves will float up and from there just do the water change skimming few inches below the surface.

Plants that are easy to care of?

ferns/anubias are your best bet with any lighting. Though dont expect any fast growth from them
