Here's a vid of my BN pleco getting a little greedy with his algae wafers. The 6 cories were added on Saturday and up until that point he had the whole tank to himself.
Looks like we're going to have a little chat about sharing.
And thanks for the compliments thus far! Feel free to critique as well.
The camera (Nikon D3100 with 18-55mm kit lens) was in full auto with me manually focusing. I haven't had much time to mess around and explore the manual settings just yet. I'm not even sure where to start.
36 gallon planted corner. It has been running for a few years. Current stock is three rainbows and two diamond tetras. I had a bout with some disease and lost 6 of the diamonds and a rainbow. Currently working on getting the tank back in order and restocking.
Bought a dSLR last weekend and was...
No CO2, just some Excel after each water change.
Here are a couple pics from last night. The spiral cryp shot a runner to the front of the tank and I haven't had a chance to transplant.
I can't believe this tank has been up for over a year now. I'll try to get some pics tonight for an update. The spiral crypt has grown into four separate plants and the dwarfs sag has spread. Other than that it looks pretty much the same, maybe I'll switch up the scape in the near future.
If I ever do a large tank it will be for these guys.
Do they prefer to be in groups? Most of the pics posted on this site usually show more than one in a tank.
Also, what species is the third pic?
I got the fixture a couple days ago. So far so good and a much smaller profile than my old straight pin CF fixture. My tank was a mess so I really need to dedicate some time to get it back into tip top shape.
