What kind of anemones? I don't think you have enough light for some of the higher light requiring anemones. But that still wouldn't cause them to pass away over night, it usually takes months for them to waste away. Three and a half watts per gallon really won't do for long tentacles, seabaes...

By the way, since your tank's only forty gallons, I wouldn't put another clown in. Maroons get kind of big, and I don't think the perculas would be too thrilled about that.

[/IMG] Hi everyone. I thought I'd post a new picture of my reef tank because I rearranged it. I also took some advice one of you gave me and put a fire fish in it. Of course, the fire fish is hiding in the picture. It wouldn't come out during the photo shoot.

I would feed it once a week with a small peice of shrimp or fish. It might also eat plankton when you feed your coral.

I only have 6.4 watts per gallon on my tank. I use a 2 x 74 watt VHO retrofit kit from Hamilton Lighting and a weird little 36 watt power compact light that has been discontinued. My soft corals do great with this much light. I used to be overrun with tree corals before I gave most of them...
