What other pets does everyone have?

Aside from fish we have 2 dogs, a shepherd and a smaller lab/mix. Last couple years I've been reducing the number of fish and collecting snakes. Currently have 53, with 30 of those being babies less than a month old now. Only ones I'm breeding/raising currently are Dominican red mountain boas...

Does this syndontis look pregnant to anyone?

Pics were posted 9 months ago, methinks it would be apparent by now whether it was a gravid female...

California king out for a stroll

Ya, young Cali kings are prone to have an attitude, apparently yours never outgrew it, lol. We have 10 DRMB's, 2 BCI's, 2 thayeri kings, 1 carpet python, and 1 everglades rat snake. None of them have shown any disposition to strike or bite, though the everglades will buzz her tail on occasion...

    Synodontis Eupterus help!

Have you tried Craiglist to rehome the fish?

    WTB peacock ciclids

A few, good pictures are another matter though. Here's the odd colored ruby red male, and a normal ruby red male (actually looks more red in person, flash made him look orange, odd male pic is pretty close on color): I also have a couple trios of Victorian rock kribs, they mix well enough...

Tire track and peacock eel best buds:)

They're simply crowding into the only available cover. Given a larger tank with plenty of suitable hiding places they'd all be happier.

    WTB peacock ciclids

What size tank, and what peacocks are you wanting? I have a male eureka red, a group of ruby reds, and an odd male ruby red that's solid yellow/orange. I'm looking to move them all out to use the tanks for pleco's.

    Baby whale very interesting

Neat fish, but I typically have my tanks too crowded for one of those to be comfortable.

Left over bath tiles used as caves?

Have a tile saw handy? Main thing is getting the right size for a given species to use.

Bottom feeders that won`t bother plants or eat shrimp

    Bristlenose pleco's won't bother shrimp.

    Endlers 10 gallon tank

Duckweed would help, or Najas, or hornwort.

Help With Stocking an African Tank

You'd be better off trying that mix in a 75 than a 55, the additional 6" of depth makes quite a difference. The bichir and Ctenepoma will outgrow the tank sooner or later.

    How do i acquire a few LDA025s?

A 10 gallon tank is really too small for any pleco. A single baby BN would be fine for maybe a year, I've bred and raised them for years and never seen any of them eat plants. Snails are a different story entirely. I've seen ramshorns gnaw the leaves right off anubias like caterpillars on trees...

    How do i acquire a few LDA025s?

They're often listed on aquabid.com but shipping may not be a good idea if the weather is too cold. A common bristlenose pleco may be a better option, they don't grow much larger and are generally hardier than LDA-025's. Also available in different color morphs, and they do eat algae their whole...

need help picking out a new schooling fish

Tire track eel would outgrow the tank relatively quickly, smaller species like the zigzag would be better. The SA bumblebee cats have the bottom feeder option covered. A raphael cat would also be invisible by day, and along with the bumblebees eat anything small like neon tetras. Same with a...

Going to the reptile show in Hamburg on Saturday, probably be bringing home a new snake or two, some supplies, and maybe some cages.

Stocking Help! Shellies and a 30 gallon

Caudopunctatus are pair-bonding fish, so start with 5-6 and figure on only keeping a breeding pair after they sort themselves out. Don't worry too much about the gene pool thing, just make sure you get healthy stock. You could keep a trio of sailfin mollies with them, but the endless molly fry...

    DIY 55g stand

Good gravy, that looks more like the stand under my 220 than something to hold a 55.

    Bottom feeder for my 20g

    I'd go for 10-12, they're a small social fish.
