I'd say skip the SAE and look for some Twig/Whiptail Catfish. I love the look of these dudes and don't seem to lose interest like Plecos or SAEs towards algae.
Cool project, I was planning on breeding bettas as well this summer but seemed a lot of work when I got most of my time cut out for internships. About how much care do you put from breeding til the shipping out the fry?
Would the stock lighting for the Fluval Spec V be enough to grow some low light corals? I was reading about Musrooms, Butto Polps, Xenias and Anthelias. Any other ones? I will most likely upgrade in the future but no plans for expensive corals just yet.
Sweet! I think I might end up adding 9 of these to my 38G. They look awesome! And probably would be cool with some Neon Tetras associated with them. Have you seen them fin nip at all?
