Liz, The Halti holds by the snout and the no pull harness is a harness. When they pull, they are automatically corrected because it pulls them to face you. I personally am im favor of it for two reasons, my dogs snout is too short and he hates having his mouth closed so much he will freak out.

Liz, try the gentle leader harness if you dont like the halti leader. Personally because my dog has too short of a snout I had to go with the harness but he is much less of a puller because of the harness.Some dogs manage to get the halti leader off.

I havent noticed any agression with my flagfish. He does eat my water sprite however, but leaves the rest of the plants alone I dont know if he eats algae... ive never seen him do it.

I got an offer for a 40 gallon hex and I think I will take it. I was thinking of doing a cool SW hex tank.
