Hi,
I just moved my 10 and 5g tanks into a 20 gallon and the next day there was some foam on top of the water.
What could cause this?
I usesd mostly new gravel but then topped it off with gravel from the other tanks - it was kept wet in between - I also moved over all the filter media so I...
Hi,
I was sure I'd read that riccia is soley aquatic, but in the terrarium that I've had set up the longest (since last May or Oct, I can't remember lol), it has started climbing the front wall. It's nearly an inch above the waterline already!
So what's with that?
Thanks for all the ideas!
I was about to ask my sis for a bag of ferret poo the next time she comes over... but the Lady didn't like that idea, LOL.
A skunk would be so cool... heehee. I think I knew someone who had one for a pet once, she had it 'depued'. I suppose it would have to be after...
I've mostly only seen green algea on snails before myself. It might be ok (if you have more than one eventually they'll clean each other off.)
If it seems to bother her you might be able to try gently scrubbing the shell with a toothbrush?
Maybe the spots can develop later? I don't know, but...
I kinda got interested when I 'saved' 2 goldfish at a church thing when I was 14. We didn't have internet yet and dad claimed he knew about taking care of them cause he'd had a tank of guppy's (like 50 years ago, lol), so all we did (lil sis got one too, but she didn't want to take care of hers...
So gorgeous!
Eventually I'd start hyperventilating though, I'm claustaphobic, and terrified of water... and then someone mentioned a leak...

Hi!
Like the title says, what veggies, fruits, and or houseplants do you grow in and around your container pond/gardens?
Do you float them (and how do you float it, by itself or on something?)?
Do you plant them?
What depth for each?
In pots or something else?
I want to know, what...
Hi! :)
Any of ya'll with veggie gardens have squirrel problems?
We are completely overrun with :swear:squirrels. They even eat the plant pots and garbage can!
They aren't afraid of us anymore either - which is a little scary... (ever seen 'the birds'? think, 'when squirrels attack'. dun dun...
