If he was protecting me I'd truely suck at being mafia since I called him out for the same thing before you did. You've suggested at least once that someone else go back and review the thread, perhaps you should take your own advice. Afterall you claim you're not on a team with Ogre because you called some of his behavior to task. Double standard? Or perhaps guilt tripping you up?

As I said in a previous post, my vote will stay as is. I believe LGs response to the morse code and her willingness to vote for me or John just to get rid of the annoyance is very anti town.Same with Ogre. They are the only 2 looking to get rid of the players.

They are also the 2 that made the most stink about the code. I don't see how its so hard or time consuming to copy and paste a code into a translator. A lot easier then going back and forth and pulling quotes for a case.

One of LGs post even go as far as to say that John and I are NOT innocents. How could she know what we are?

Not sure that who goes after who on a first day means much this early on. Typically that isn't important until a few days in but I didn't want to lose what she said here when we go back and review later.

I also saw judgemax reading the thread and she did not post. I find this concerning. I was interested in what her thoughts were about the morse code.

While it was fun and I was enjoying myself, in no way was I trying to exclude anyone. I guess not everyone is able to copy and paste.

I find it annoying that people hide as well, but eh I've had to get used to when playing this game.

At this point, my stongest suspect is Ice. I've posted why before so it shouldn't be a huge shock. I vote to genetically test Ice

Holy crap Grins, you've been holding it in eh? If you had read up to the present you will see that I came back to the point you made and said I am not sure that the bit about catfish protecting you made sense. Doesn't mean I don't still think you are an Evil, but in that instance it might not have been protection.

Also, you say people shouldn't hide, but you've waited till 3 hours from Night to place a vote. Doesn't that seem like hiding? It surely doesn't help us as a town come together to decide on a suspect when you add yet another person to the long listed of people with votes on them.

I'll say it again, if we do not narrow down the list of suspects the Evils have too much room to hide.

Lol, oh I read the entire thread, you may not have though because if you did you'd have seen where I almost withdrew from the game due to a new job offer; that I announced meetings would have me away from the PC from 12-4'ish today; that I said people hiding in the thread was annoying, not that they shouldn't do it. Got to tell you Z, when people misquote me or infer things that are disputed elsewhere in the thread it has historically meant they were up to no good.

As for who I vote for...the person that seems the most mafia like. I did that, did you? If we both did we should have a clear conscious at this point and we can look at shifting that vote if it appears there is a compelling reason to change it. If you want me to change my vote to someone else..compel me because I'm not close minded about anyone other than LadyG at this point.

What a long post, then to sum it up with a whole new canidate for testing. Anyone else on your list? I see Ice as a decent suspect, but I think it is a little late in the day to be adding his name to the list.

Anyone else listed paek your interest at all?

I had mis-understood your question before, as far as me having catfish69hunter as leaning innocent, the main reason is that he took the time to read the morse code. He seems to want to play and to particapate. In no way am I proclaiming him innocent, but I have him leaning that way.

Is this your final answer Grins?
 
I think judgemax is a good vote, I still have not liked her input so far on this game.

Last bit about the morse (I promise). The entire argument against me was "we did something annoying, we were asked to stop, we kept it up, now he's really annoyed, he must be evil".

Ogre, you should reread my post if you got the impression that I thought all who posted in Morse is innocent. Also you obviously skipped over at least two of my posts because I DID post in Morse. Initially it was JL, CL, Ice, and myself, in that order. There might be an evil among those three but right now I'm undecided about them. I will need to review the thread again before I vote them or anyone else. Although you're not looking very innocent either. First you thought I was evil because of the joke or the wink then you skip over my posts, that aren't that many btw, and misread my post just a few lines from where you typed. If you are an innocent I would like to hear your thoughts on others besides the fact that they posted in Morse before I vote later.

Granted Beth hasn't peeped a word but John, you've exhibited some classic Mafia traits in this game. I would think that if you were evil you wouldn't be this bald about it but from the beginning you mistook CL for JP, then you misread LG's post about distracting and claimed you skimmed (hopefully jokingly), then you forget players. Though I'm always suspicious of you anyways, this doesn't help.

Plant, so since you're saying that not everyone who posted in morse was innocent, then you may not be innocent. Don't worry, because of a total lack of others interested in investigating you, I'm going to bail out.

I retract my vote on Plantling.

As I was reading I noticed a couple of things. Grins remarks about John and Ice are very true and accurate.

Zsand suddenly appears and gets into it with Zig and catfish. These three really have no obvious reasons for attempting a distancing or distraction thing right now. I'm mostly inclined to read the three of them as innocent.

I also agree with ZSand saying that we should really push for a limited selection as innocents. Since no one else is going with Plantling, I'm considering my options.

Finally, I thought it very curious how quickly some of the votes shifted around after seemingly nothing comments. Including (I guess mostly) the votes on myself. Notably hooked and catfish. Again, I'll give cat the benefit of the doubt.

Now for my vote and the reasoning....

It seems to me that in almost every game I've played that one particular player gets involved in a seemingly meaningless statement, comment, or event and jumps on it with full force. Often, later claiming it to be a trap or judging of reactions. That player then makes some sort of determination, that many support after the fact, about whether that event went unnoticed or became something important. Then that player decides amoung those that do not meet the criteria of the event, who it evil.

Because of this, many players immediately follow the bandwagon... and, as far as I'm aware, only once has a evil player been lynched on the first day.

Now, I'm not comfortable voting for those not on my previously mentioned list. There may be some OMGUS aspect to that, but I believe there may be some truth there too. Of course, I may be deluding myself. To that end, I'll vote for someone on my list from the beginning that has some support as a choice from another player.

I vote to genetically test IceH2O.
