Light Fixture: New Problem to Solve

Goldfish are attention hounds. So If I didn't show off the other fish, they'd never let me hear the end of it. :)

Excuse the dark photos... I really need to throw away some duckweed.

I am so thrilled!! I got tired of wondering about those mounting legs today... so I got my hacksaw out, took down the light fixture, and cut off those bolting sections. The hacksaw blade cut through the plastic very smoothly. After just 15 minutes and 4 simple cuts, I didn't even need to file down any rough edges.

The light is back up there and it fits perfectly. The side part of the mounting legs fit snugly against the outside glass, so it's not going anywhere. I can even tilt the light up and out of the way, like it's supposed to.

I'm so excited.. here are new photos showing how the light fits on the tank now. It's a perfect match for this tank and stand.
