Yep,,,Kilz away...an ounce (or two gallons) of prevention now.....
 
Find some sort of paint that has mold inhibitors. I'd also sprinkle some boric acid under the flooring to discourage dry rot and termites.

The 2 EPA inspectors that came to our school for a presentation told us Kilz does not have an EPA approved fungicide in it. It is used to mask stains.

You will find on the Kilz site that it recommends cleaning and abating the mold before you use Kilz.

Absolutely true frig...however in this application...and as per the manufacturer's site...it does have ingredients to inhibit mold growth. One of it's primary functions after covering stains. I never stated it killed mold...I stated or implied it was a preventative measure. Since Nola has a completely new surface to work with, it is a great choice.
