Thinking of changing the food I feed everyone and would like to know what you guys think is best for my fish. I found a new whole seller for food you see, so can now get more appropriate food for my fish :)

I use Hikari Tropical Sinking Carnivore Pellets as a staple part of my bichirs diet and then suppliment it with other things such as The freezer at your local fish store is a smorgasboard of foods which should include
silversides or lancefish
mysis shrimp
brine shrimp
krill
bloodworms
beefheart
Simply thaw and feed-Anne

Our fish shop isn't nearly as cool, I tried giving her bloodworms and she just ate a load of sand, so unless I feed her with a pipet (which I do sometimes) she doesn't get bloodworm any more.

How about other sorts of fish? She loves the white fish, not tried her on cod and things like that, thought for a bit about getting dead fish from the local fish shop but dismissed it as you never know how or why they die lol. I can normally get all sorts of fish slighly past their sell by (though still good by all means) for her very cheap. Will deff get the hikari pellets for her though :)
