Just recently purchased a powder brown tang, my tank has been established for little under a year now. I have been doing some research of feeding these guys.

Some of the suggested foods include romaine lettuce and dried nori, has anyone had any experience with keeping and feeding powder brown tangs. I am also aware that these guys are prone to ick but my levels are all fine so hopefully he will be alright

Thanks in advance guys

Tangs are herbivores so I'd use the mysis, or any other meaty treat, occasionally. Also, seaweed works, caulerpa, veggie flakes, peas (no shell) and blanched broccoli.

I think that nori and mysis, would do, with a few others for treats!

Do "seaweed select" etc make your water green? My LFS gave me something called Tenera Blue... "100% Natural Sea Algae." For 10 sheets (lasts about 9-10 days) it costs me $9.
