okay, I'm a bit confused... I have read on here that it is not recommended to use lights during the curing of live rock because of algae. I now read on the website of the company that I purchased my live rock from to use light during the curing so that the rock will purple up.. Am I reading this wrong? Should I or Shouldn't I use light?

Thank you.

through the curing process, there is not really a need to use lights..When the curing is over and its in the tank, there will be plenty of time for corraline alage to grow and spread through-out the tank provided calcium and light are available...
