I have a heavily planted tank and am starting to have some algae problems. The algae looks like a black spider web on my plants and in places branches out like a small tree.

I have Otos do they eat this type of algae? If not what will?

Probably bba algae. I cant see the pic, sorry.

Otos wont eat it I'm afraid. The only way I've heard to get rid of it is blackout, buts thats not great for plants and it always come back anyway.

I just live with it, though I dont like the stuff. Whe I prune I remove the leaves with that algae on.
