So I got this piece of driftwood. I soaked it for 2 weeks even though it sank as soon as I put it in the water. I gave it several good scrubbings. No tannins were released into the water and that was OK with me as I didn't want any dark water. It already had some holes in it so I really haven't had to do too much to get it ready. It knida sounds like a dinner plate when you tap it with your finger.
I'm thinking of using it in a ciclid tank because of the cool holes it has. Is there anything else I need to know before I set this up as a center piece?
