Finally caught mantis shrimp

My toilet wants it
what kind of mantis is it? The really colorful one? We caught two black mantis shrimps at work a couple days ago, we were offering them for free to customers who wanted them, but no one did.

try a post on the mantis forum on reefcentral, someones always up for more mantis shrimp there. Better than killing an intelligent and interesting creature.

I HATE MANTIS SHRIMP!! I dealt with them twice in my aquarium career. The evil clicking sounds at night, the past horror stories. But i have to admit Mantis Shrimps are magificent creatures.

I caught mine by "knowing" which rock he was hiding in and got that rock out and located him in a crevice and dug it with swiss army knife.
