Treat I think. If he's not very old, or in great distress, I try not to euthanize a fish. One of my guppies was so badly swollen one morning she pineconed out, and I made the decision and had her in clove oil in under three minutes.

I'd try jungle labs, tank buddies fungus treatment first. Works pretty well for hemoragic...

I probably should've mentioned that I treated him with antibiotics in a QT tank for a few days, and that he hasn't eaten for over 4 days.

maracyn-2 is the prescribed treatment for septicemia in fish.. have you used that yet?
