To clear confusion, the powder brown is a Acanthurus japonicus. Will A regal and a powder brown get along in a 100 gallon? 48" long x25"x25". It will have 100 pounds of live rock and a 30 gallon "duplex" design sump/fuge. Also how long are both of their lifespans in captivity? Does anyone have nay first-hand experience with power browns and if they are difficult to keep?

Also add a yellow one spotted foxface to the question.

Probably...that's a good sized tank.

I know people who have like 3 or 4 tangs in their 180 gallon, so not sure why 2 wouldn't work in a 100g....

But, if it doesn't, you're going to have an expensive and time consuming mess to clean up. ;)

If you buy them with a good enough size difference... Like a 2-3 inch difference... they'll completely ignore each other.
