I know thats a very odd topic name but theres a reason. I have a 55g tank with some south american cichlids, a couple severum and eartheaters and some cory cats. I was thinking of getting a much larger aquarium to put them in but use half of it for land. Is there any way to make that possible with fire belly toads and/or newts?

For a 55g tank, your tank is quite crowded, so like you said, I suggest you upgrade to a much larger aquarium, but use it strictly for fish, as your fish really need the space.

Once you have the 55g empty, you could use that to house firebelly newts -OR- toads.
