My son came down to tell me his mystery snails were kissing and yes, they were on top of each other, "feet" touching. BUT an hour later I had to fish an half eaten mystery snail out of the tank...Wasn't pretty.

Should I assume the one (ivory mystery) killed the other (blue mystery), of is it more likely the other died and the one feasted on it?

They aren't predators. The other was already dead when the eating began I assure you. I have a 29G strictly for snails and have never had a "Murder" occur ;) They also do not eat live fish as some believe. The betta that lives with the snails even lays next to them and is still 100% in tact.
