might be a bit crouded, plus, ull have to keep it pretty clean, watch out for nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia, tehyre your killers, and btw, keep the ph between 6.7 and 6.8. if you keep there at correct levels, you can keep any fish in any tank, as long as it doesnt outgrow the tank, (should have fishes length x 2 = width of tank)

That would be 33 gallons so 3 would be ok as long as no pair forms. If that happens the odd man out will usually be abused by the pair. General rule of thunb for discus (and angel fish) is 10 gallons per fish but no smaller than a 20 gallon.
