you're on craigslist, and you see a 90 gallon tank with hood, lights, stand, and equiptment for free, and it's in the SAME town as you, and it was only listed 12 minutes before you saw it...... and then you call and they tell you that someone just called a minute ago and that they'd call me if it fell through.

sometimes if the other person can't be there first, you get the upper hand anyway. it's worth an offer.

im actually at work until 5 anyways, so i really had no leverage on picking it up sooner.

and i should have offered $50 for it.

that still would have been a steal.

DON'T offer more just to come get it sooner than the person they promised it to!!! That's cheap and sleezy.


Bummer about not getting it though. I scan the list all the time for tank deals. :)
